Team Challenge Opportunities

MADD - Make a Difference Day

Make a Difference Day is a hugely important date in the volunteering calendar.  Our mission is to encourage people to ‘get inspired’ and for local businesses to volunteer together in Runnymede and Spelthorne.  This year it will be held on 19th October in conjunction with the National Trust Runnymede.  We’ll be doing some serious woodland coppice management and cutting down hazel bushes and brambles at Finchampton Ridges.  If you have a team of volunteers who have a passion for conservation and would be interested in taking part in this fun volunteering event, give the team a call on 01932 571122.

Hospital Green Space Regeneration

Our local hospital is looking on an on-going basis for local businesses to help with the clearing and cutting back of the gardens and green spaces.  One recent volunteer commented “It’s been very challenging but great fun as we got to talk and work with colleagues that we don’t usually work with in our company which was very rewarding”  If you would like to help in the local community and have a keen, enthusiastic team who are up for a strenuous challenge, give the team  a call on 01932 571122.

Organising and running a Customer Service Workshop

A local charity is looking on an on-going basis for local businesses to help their volunteers improve their customer service skills. If you have a small team who would like to offer their knowledge and skills in marketing and customer service please give our team a call on 01932 571122.

Painting Projects

A community cafe needs a team of  keen volunteers to paint their hallway and meeting room.  If you have an active team who fancies a physical challenge, please give our team a call on 01932 571122.

Friends of Egham Hythe

Hythe Park is an 11 acre town park in Pooley Green, Egham Hythe.  Local residents can get involved in tree planting, wildlife watching and a host of other activities.  They have been awarded a grant to create a community garden and heritage orchard. They need a team of volunteers to clear each bed of  weeds  and replant to a theme of  bee and butterfly friendly.  If you have a team who don’t mind getting their hands dirty, give the team a call on 01932 571122
