Fordway brave the November outdoors on Horsell Common

We were delighted to once again support Fordway who had a team brave enough to take on an outdoor challenge in November.
Their volunteers headed out to Horsell Common Preservation Society and spent the day removing scrub from the heathland under the watchful eye of the Belted Galloway cattle and Senior Ranger Rupert Millican. It was physical work, but great for the team to get outside and do some hands on conservation work protecting a valuable ecosystem.
Rupert was really pleased with their hard work. He said, “It was a pleasure to have them, and they got loads of essential habitat maintenance work done.”
We promise to find them a less physically demanding challenge next time!
