Runnymede Mayor visits Ukrainian families at drop-in

On Tuesday 23 August, ahead of Independence Day for Ukraine, the Mayor of Runnymede Councillor Margaret Harnden joined Ukrainian families and their hosts at Revive Cafe for our drop-in for Ukrainians and their host families.

Solette Sheppardson, VSNS CEO, said, “We are so fortunate to be able to host these sessions at such a wonderful venue. This is made possible thanks to the partnership and support of Runnymede Borough Council and the Community Foundation for Surrey.”

The drop-in sessions support Ukrainian families in Surrey who have fled the conflict and their hosts. They run every Tuesday from 12.30pm until 2pm at Revive Coffee Shop, 99 Guildford Street, in Chertsey.
