We are delighted to announce that nominations for this year’s Surrey Heath Volunteer Awards are now open! Nominating your volunteers for a Surrey Heath volunteer award is a wonderful way to celebrate and recognise your volunteers and show them that they are valued. Winners will be announced at a ceremony which will be held at the end of November. We will host the awards, in partnership with Surrey Heath Borough Council, at Chobham Golf Club.

The award categories are:

• Inspirational Volunteer Award – for volunteers that have made a huge difference to your cause
• Young Volunteer Award – up to the age of 24
• New Volunteer Award – for people who are new to volunteering
• Long Service Award – for our long-standing volunteers
• Volunteer Team Award – for a whole volunteer team’s contribution to Surrey Heath residents
• Engagement in the Community – for businesses that carried out volunteering in Surrey Heath

The judging panel will be composed of representatives from our local community.

You can nominate your volunteers using our online form.  The closing date for nominations is 31st October.
