Volunteers’ Week celebrates the amazing contributions volunteers make to communities across the UK.
The celebration starts on the first Monday of June every year and is a great chance to recognise, celebrate and thank your volunteers for all they contribute to our local communities, the voluntary sector, and society as a whole.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of Volunteers’ Week and will run from Monday to Sunday 9 June!
To mark this special occasion, Voluntary Support have launched a #40reasonstovolunteer campaign.
In the 40 days leading up to Monday 3 June, we will be posting one reason to volunteer each day. Not only do we want to celebrate our volunteers in North Surrey but we also want to encourage those who haven’t volunteered before to do so!
