Talking Tree
Talking Tree exists to raise community awareness and action to combat the negative effects of climate change. We believe that millions of little actions by ordinary people, can make a big positive difference for our local area and our planet.
Our vision is to make Spelthorne carbon neutral and the most nature-rich, sustainable, healthy and happy community in the UK.
We run a programme of events, education and skill-sharing as well as a variety of different projects, all from our community space in Staines-Upon-Thames.
Our aim is to grow more of our own food to be used in the cafe whilst also utilising community spaces to grow food. We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to take on this project.
An ability to develop and sustain a project and motivate others. Some horticultural knowledge would be useful.
