Lingfield & Dormansland Meals on Wheels (MOW)
Do you enjoy being part of a team? Our team of 150 dedicated cooks and deliverers provide healthy and nutritious meals to housebound residents of Lingfield, Dormansland, Felcourt and Crowhurst every week of the year. Meals are freshly prepared and cooked daily from Monday - Thursday in the Meals on Wheels kitchen situated in the Community Centre in Lingfield.
Cooks required - work in a team of 3 preparing a main meal and pudding for approximately 30 clients. Starting at 9.00am until midday, once a month on the same day each month. Recipes and menus are all prepared.
Vegetable preparation in teams of 2 - afternoons for approximately 2 hours - timings are flexible.
We run a rota system and would ask for volunteer commitment every 2 weeks.
