Lingfield & Dormansland Meals on Wheels (MOW)
Our deliveries provide a hot meal for our clients Monday to Friday.
On some occasions you may have to enter the home. The client might need the lid of the meal removed or food cut up. Most of our clients delight in seeing a friendly face as yours might be the only one they see each day.
Working in teams of 2 on a once a month rota. Always the same day of the week to help you plan ahead.
Delivery between 11.30 and 13 30 pm
Volunteers can be a driver and use their own car or can accompany a driver as part of a 2 person team. If volunteering alone a DBS may be required.
Would like to fill a key role in supporting older people to remain in their homes. Enjoy meeting people and has an outgoing and sociable personality. Is customer focused and wants to support their local community
