How you’ll be helping:

We are looking for a highly organised, proficient, proactive and reliable volunteer to provide support and assistance to the Quality, Compliance and Safeguarding team. 

What will the role involve?

  • The Children’s Trust requires eligible staff to be registered on the DBS Update Service and to maintain that subscription.
  • The role of the DBS Administrator will be to complete the following tasks:
  • Checking the DBS Update Service on a weekly basis and reviewing the results for status updates
  • Filing the results on employee e-files
  • Escalating to colleagues about lapses and reimbursements
  • Updating databases and Excel tracking
  • Where appropriate, responding to queries from staff across the organisation
  • Reviewing system reports (monthly) to spot data entry errors
  • Working within parameters of confidentiality and security
