ALDAG - Always Learning Developing And Growing (CSVA)
ALDAG aims to train young people with a learning disability in generic and specific work skills as part of an employment pathway leading to paid employment for some of our members.
We have an exciting opportunity to support young people with a learning disability in developing their hospitality skills; taking orders, making hot and cold drinks, making sandwiches and light lunches to order, customer service.
Personal qualities needed:
• enthusiasm
• patience and flexibility
• a positive view and understanding of young people
• a sense of humour
Skills you need to show:
• a strong commitment to young people with disabilities
• the ability to provide reliable support to young people and act with integrity
• to support our young people by encouraging their independence in all tasks
• the ability to stand back and support only when needed
